4x4 tour with driver for 4 days from

Marrakech

 

For lovers of the Sahara and its beautiful dunes, this journey offers a real discovery of the landscapes and the Moroccan desert!

 

You will cross the High Atlas mountains to get to the fortified village of Kasr Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with the Lake Irriki and then Erg el Aabidliya, not forgetting the magnificent palm grove of Oued Drâa.

 

Day 1 :

Marrakesh / Tichka pass / Ounila valley / Ait Ben Haddou

Meeting with your driver, then departure in 4 × 4 to the south.

You will cross the high atlas via the Tichka pass of 2260m to continue to the Telouet valley.

You will then visit the impressive Kasbah of El Glaoui, old pasha of Marrakesh and the great south.

After lunch, you will follow the magnificent Asif Ounila valley with its beautiful kasbahs and by foot visiting the Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village listed as World Heritage by Unesco.

You will have dinner and the night in a charming guest house.

• 4h30 of driving and 1h walking tour.

 

Day 2 :

Tazenakht / Foum Zguid / Chegaga Dunes

Direction the village of Tazenakht, famous for the quality of its "Ouaouzguit" carpets.

Then south along a magnificent palm grove to have lunch in the desert after Foum Zguid.

Then the tracks of the East and will cross the enormous dry lake Iriki and the dunes of Erg El ghoul and Elaabidliya.

To finally join our nomadic bivouac in the Chegaga dunes which constitute an ideal observation post who wish to admire the sunset!

• 5 hours of road and track, dinner and overnight in bivouac.

 

Day 3 :

M'Hamid / The Drâa Valley / Zagora / Agdz

Walk or camel ride in the magnificent Chegaga desert where the dunes stretch as far as the eye can see.

You will then leave for M’Hamid and the Drâa valley to continue at Zagora and Tinzouline to join a guest house near the village of Agdz.

• 4h30 of track and road.

 

Day 4 :

Ouarzazate / Imini / Tichka pass / Marrakech

Direction Ouarzazate via the Tinfift pass and then Tabourahte, Imini and Agouim before crossing the Tichka pass.

You will have lunch on the road to Taddart Izdar and Ait Barka before reaching Marrakech.
